For nearly a decade, we at Hydrobead have aspired to change the way the world interacts with water. We began by developing super water repellant technologies and creating the first one-step, aerosol-applied superhydrophobic coating. In 2010, we were granted business innovative research funding by the US Air Force and National Science Foundation, and Hydrobead was established. Since then, we've been developing state of the art coatings designed for optimal water repellency and durability without sacrificing ease-of-use. Now, Hydrobead can be used at home as well as larger, industrial workplaces. There's already no limit to what you can do with Hydrobead.
And we're just getting started.
Dr. David Schultz - Chief Executive Officer
David received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from Stanford University and his BA from the University of California, Berkeley. For more than fifteen years, his research has focused on practical applications of nanotechnology. Dr. Schultz coordinates research efforts on Hydrobead and leads business development, IP management and commercialization activities.
Dr. Jim Glass - Principal Scientist
Jim holds a PhD in molecular biology from University of Arizona as well as a BS in biology/chemistry from Central Michigan University. He specializes in materials chemistry and nanotechnology. He has a strong background in assay development and nanomaterials commercialization. Jim is passionate about applying novel nanomaterial material science to practical applications. Jim plans to continuously develop more effective and versatile formulations of the spray and paint for commercial and industrial use.
